Heartbreaking News from Washington D.C.

Letter from the Rabbi

Dear friends,

We join with millions of others to raise our voices in shock and dismay at the horrific and cold-blooded murders of Yaron Lischinsky, 30, and Sarah Lynn Milgrim, 26, both employees of the Israel Embassy in Washington D.C. So full of life and the commitment to doing good in the world, their deaths at the hands of such violence is shocking and heartbreaking. We offer deeply felt condolences to their families and communities. Words cannot convey the grief and upset we feel. We raise our voices against all political violence, which only leads us further down a path of hatred and continued war. May we all work together for the world of peace that Yaron and Sarah together both worked for.

L'shalom,

Rabbi Caryn Broitman
