A Time for Renewal, Reflection, and Reconnection
After the activity and busyness of the summer season, the community at the Martha’s Vineyard Hebrew Center welcomes the fall and the new Jewish year with open hearts and open doors. Rooted in Jewish tradition and our Jewish values – with a commitment to justice, inclusion, and spiritual exploration – our High Holiday services are a time to reconnect with each other and with our Jewish heritage.
Whether you’re a lifelong member or this is your first time at MVHC, you and your family are welcome here. Our services weave together prayer, music, questioning, and learning in a community that honors each other’s traditions and perspectives.
Join us for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Virtual services are available for those who are unable to attend in-person. Being an open and welcoming community is important to us. We therefore do not have “tickets” or charge for seats. We do, however, depend on your generous donations to support our vibrant community, religious services, holiday celebrations, and our special events and programs throughout the year.
We look forward to welcoming you as we create meaningful services that speak to each of us at this time of challenge and blessing.
