Worship with Us

Our services include intentional prayer, joyful community singing, and thoughtful discussion of the Torah portion.

We use the Reconstructionist prayerbook which includes transliteration and a blend of tradition and contemporary commentary and readings. Our Shabbat and holiday services strive to be meaningful and accessible to all, and are fully inclusive and egalitarian.

Holidays

Everyone is welcome to observe and celebrate the Jewish holidays at MVHC. Learn more about the Jewish calendar, upcoming events, and opportunities to connect with our community.

Intergenerational Song Circle

We host a monthly intergenerational song circle with MVHC Hebrew School Director Anita Smith and Kohenet Batya Diamond. The theme this year is: “Songs of Hope, Unity, and Justice.” Everyone is welcome, and no experience is necessary.

Kiddush Lunch

One of the best parts of the week is our community Kiddush Lunch following each Saturday morning service. We gather together to reflect and enjoy each other’s company. Your support makes it possible to provide access to everyone who wants to join us.
